The short film clarisse and isabel try their best not to die is a reconstruction of a chess game played online with my friend Isabel. Made to dive into the trenches between fiction and reality, the video was realised in collaboration with this same friend, Isabel Pontoppidan, in December 2018, while we were more than 8000 kilometres apart. Our online game led to the philosophical analogy of the chess game as a metaphor for life, which we offered the audience to appropriate and continue discussing.
