You just can’t get it out of your head is a sound installation looping fictional audio stories, about a speculative world were sugar was made illegal. Without offering any visual representation, the installation leaves the listener to their own imaginary pictures, to quetion the legitimacy of the presence of sugar on the market, while the actual governments rule the consumption of all other kinds of addictive substances in the name of public health.

This project stemed from a collaboration between the Food Non Food department of the Design Academy Eindhoven, and the Stedelijk Museum of Schiedam (NL), to engage students in the exhibition Sticky Buisiness, taking place from September 2017 to February 2018 in the museum.
