BIOGRAPHY
Clarisse Pillard, born in 1997, is a French artist, graphic designer and director. After studying in design in the Netherlands, she directed her first short film “Passe Encore de Bâtir” in 2023. Her artistic research consists of an interplay of words and images. She intends to identify and question the systemic dynamics, often deliberately rendered invisible, that influence the emotional, symbolic and material relationships we maintain with our environment, particularly in our relationship with objects, our body or language. Documentary methods, collections, re-staging, and diminution of reality are some of the processes she uses to project concepts and critical questions into her work.
